Just a few lines is a collection of 74 letters written by two Australian brothers home during World War 1 .

Brothers Francis Leo O'Meara and Patrick Julian O'Meara grew in the Victorian town of Traralgon. This collection of letters follows their journey from training in Australia, the sights of Egypt and onto the reality of the trenches in France.

The aim of this project is to make this collection of letters Open Content with the belief that these documents should not belong to any one person, but be freely available to share and use around the world.

Many years after the war this collection of letters was discovered along with Franks war medals which were still in their original presentation boxes and had never been threaded or warn. Out of respect this project is not to add commentary or glorify, rather simply share the words of two young boys who fought for their country.
