Dear Jane,

Just a card to let you know I am still here. The other push were supposed to sail today so my cake will be dough I'm afraid. I've not heard anymore about my transfer at all. We were up at 5 o'clock this morning & shifted camp again, down to where Frank was & then we went out to a rifle range all day. We had 20 shots each. There was only one man beat three of us for second top score out of about 200 men. I was leading up to last range & scored possible at grouping. Dropped 10 points altogether.
